This is another actual hypnotherapy session, a week after I first visited Ninang.
I went to check on Ninang yesterday. She has diabetes along with her stroke history so I avoided to put her in deep trance. She says her speech was not as difficult as before, even allowing her to speak fluidly if she do it slowly, following some NLP exercises I recommended. Then we went into talking about her sanctuaries, and her self-doubts as to why a successful professor like her would be sick like that.

While she was asking herself that, she was seeing this sad little girl in her mind.
Then I asked her, "What are the things that can you do now -since you haven't taught in two years?
Ninang: Well I have a lot more things I can do., like my other businesses.
MB: Is it true that you have more money-making endeavors right now than before?Ninang: Yes.
MB: Are you happy with that?
Ninang: Yes.
MB: Do you love what you do right now?
Ninang: Of course.
MB: So if you haven't gotten sick at all, what would you have been doing?
Ninang: Still at school.
MB: Would you be happy with that?
Ninang: Yes, but I think I enjoy more what I have now.
MB: There you are!
Sickness is not a punishment. It is a way to make you stop what you are doing and let you do the things you love.
Ninang: Wait, I see my little girl right now (the symbol in her sanctuary) She is smiling...
MB: That's right!...Then we went on to more affirming realizations.[end trance session]
