Are you feeling down, dragged or beaten today? You may want to be absent from work or school. You may just want to continue sleeping after you snooze off your alarm.
Is it really just fatigue? Or you just lost your appetite and boredom kicked in. Have you started wondering where you are now at?
Life is actually just about solving problems from the day we had conciousness.
You learned to cry louder to get attention as a baby... You figured out how to make friends so you can have playmates... You learned to put puzzles together, work your way through school...
When you solve one aspect of your life, you just keep yourself occupied by solving more needs. So there come times you just felt tired, burnt and out of focus.
Whatever the reason for that, one thing is certain:
We don't quit. You know you should continue working, studying, living normally...
We can however:
Stop, Rest and reflect
Put things on hold for the time being
Detour, change strategy
Go back a few steps if needed
Explore other options in which you can switch to other activities so to improve your life.
In other words, we keep moving.
Now as you are doing this, you might want to ponder,
"What is it that I want?"
You may want to focus on figuring out what life goals makes you happy.
And you are pondering you find yourself in trance...
DO you want to save for something? Pursue a field of study? Get promoted? Get that love you always want to have? [Insert your big dream here]
Now narrow your focus on that dream. Forget all your excuses. It is a no-holds barred image of your dream. What if you have the resources? the time? the energy? make the image big, clear and right in front of you. What does it feel? How does it look like? What are the sounds you here? How does it taste like to be what you want to be? Let if fill your being with joy, hope and excitement...
That's right. Then feel the world responding to that dream. Your mind will start to see mini-goals. Baby steps to make your dreams come true. It may scare you a bit, as your mind may suggest you to give up something.
But it is okay. Your mind will actually figure out how to compensate
to make all aspect of your dreams work in harmony. Remember that you can always stop, rest and put things on hold. Timing is also important in making things happen. What's important is you want your outcome. Be patient. Dreams like this are like wine. You age it to perfection. You can also make it as fast as you want, or as slow if you want it. What matters is you keep your eyes on the prize.
And as you get back to reality, you may feel light headed, but not confused.
It is entirely normal, your mind is actually savoring the renewed energy and excitement of getting what you want.
You can count backwards...5, 4, 3, 2,...1
Slowly open your eyes. How does it feel?
